Here are some answers to our commonly asked questions. If there's something we've missed, please reach out, and we will be happy to assist.
What's involved?
The process and activities can vary depending on client needs; however, what to expect at your first session will be a safety briefing and general information about the way that the process works. Initially, think of it as therapy or participating in a program (depending on what you're booking in for) in the presence of horses, and we will teach you the rest.
Do I need horse experience?
You don't need any experience. Even if you have experience, we will still do a safety briefing.
What age ranges do you do?
We see clients of all ages and have four horses of various heights.
What do I bring?
You need to wear closed-in shoes, a hat, sun protective clothing and a water bottle.
Where are you located?
We are located in Pine Mountain Qld Australia. Please contact us for our address.
Will my child be left alone?
Due to our insurance parameters, parents, guardians or caregivers are required to be on site for the duration. Due to the nature of therapy, parents/guardians/caregivers won't be able to directly participate in your child's session, but we can set you up in the shade with a chair.
Do you do group sessions?
We do group sessions. Please contact us to discuss your requirements as we need to factor in horse welfare with how these are delivered.
Do you have insurance?
Yes.
What about billing?
We do private billing which will be invoiced to you after your session and is due for payment within 7 days of the date of the invoice.
For EAP sessions, your employer is invoiced and is no cost to you.

Do you Travel?
