Brittany has over 12 years of experience working with private and public clients through her work in child protection and occupational rehabilitation to bring the biopsychosocial holistic approach to the therapeutic space. Brittany accepts the client's whole self and encourages people to show up by creating a safe environment for people to be vulnerable.
Brittany is passionate about how transformative this space can be for people who haven't had success through mainstream treatment options. At networking events, Brittany has discussed this method with practising Psychiatrists who believe equine-assisted therapy is the way of the future.
Brittany has full registration with the Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors with insurance.
Brittany has completed her equine-facilitated learning through the Athena Herd Foundation. She is also completing her Applied Research Master's to receive dual registration with ACA and explore how equine-assisted therapy can be beneficial for survivors of domestic and family violence.
